Posted on Sep 17, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment
Too many kids nowadays would rather sit around the house and play video games instead of going outside to play. Getting kids involved in a sports activity is the best way to keep your kids in shape, and make sure they are doing more than just sitting around all the time. Kids do not have to give up video games all together, but they are going to have to draw a fine line of when enough is enough. So talk to your kids about sports and see what kind of activity they would like to get involved with. This could be something that you get to do as a family.

Rules of College Football Changing
Posted on Sep 17, 2008 under Uncategorized | No Comment
If you live in the United States, you may like to know that this year’s sports rules have changed. The biggest difference is, of course, the play clock. Whenever you run out on the field of play, now the clock only stops until the ball is set. After that, the clock will start moving again. When it gets down to two minutes left in the game, then you need to note that the rules go back to the way they normally are. When you run out on the field of play, the clock will start until the play starts. They started doing this in college sports to help make the games not so long.

A lot of big name sports players have been doing their part for the community this summer. They have been setting up camps and things like that for kids to play in and learn the rules of football. Now that kids are going back to school, a lot of big name sports players will be visiting schools, talking to kids about the need of a high education and how you need a good education to make a living for yourself. They will tell kids that they should never give up their dreams of football, but they need to have a solid education to back it up. Kids look up to big name sports players, and it’s nice to see them helping the community.
